The Basement, Chateau Belewbeloid, Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
The sky is grey although the walls of The Basement are vibrant and singing with colour: the studio apartment is now also Adrian's art gallery. It is a huge improvement. Now, at this desk, I look up to see Belewbeoid artwork where, on every previous visit, hung a large framed poster of KC in 1982: Billy & Bobby & Tony & Ade photographed in NYC the day after a Toad's Place gig in New Haven. I prefer to see Adrian's painting.

Tuesday 2nd. March:
A mainly straightforward journey here in two stages. For the first, from London to Chicago, three plumbing activities surrounded me on a light flight; for the second, from Chicago to Nashville, we sat on the runway for 50 minutes waiting for bags to arrive.
Now, moderately dribbling, a day of Rapid Acculturation & catching-up beckons --
